iPad 4 lots of lag on IOS 9,01

My iPad was very slow on IOS 9.01. I could tap the tapatalk icon and it would take several seconds for the pad to respond. Once opened it would work OK, even if minimised for a while, then it would lag again. I had this problem with a number of apps. Safari seemed to lag as well when loading, and closing pages.

For the time being I have gone back to 8.41 which gibes me back performance.

Is anyone else finding the same on their iPad 4.
