ios ipad mini help

Basically I jailbroke my ipad mini first gen then didn't like it so I restored it off a back up but the jailbreaks were still there so then I factory reset it through settings and it gets stuck at the apple logo. All I can do is put it into recovery mode but then when I try to plug it in and restore or update it. My mac says it can't due to an error with the ipad. Anyone got an answer to this?

First of all, make sure that you’re running the latest version if iTunes. Then, just put your device in DFU mode and connect it to your computer/iTunes. It will download the latest iOS and install it for you. Good luck.
