iOS Help: My keyboard shortcuts aren't syncing after updating to iOS 8

My keyboard shortcuts no longer sync with my iPad.
Any ideas how to fix this?

William, you definitely aren't the only person having issues with keyboard shortcuts, particularly after updating to iOS 8. Whether they're just not syncing or you find them disappearing from a particular device altogether, here are some suggestions on how to get them back in working order again!

I delete mine and they keep coming back. I've tried deleting them, turn off iCloud Drive, reboot iPhone, and turn iCloud Drive back on and they keep coming back. Any suggestions on how to permanently delete keyboard shortcuts?

I think I finally figured it out. I deleted the short cuts on both my iPad and iPhone and they didn't return.
