By the way imessage isn't the most popular texting app in Europe and other parts of the world. They got tied off the apple limits a long time ago.
There is about 1% difference on iPhones and Samsung in Asia, that's not major dominance. Then when you add in all the non Samsung phones using Android, well you know the answer to that.

Never said iMessage was the most popular messaging service in Europe or the Middle East, but the iPhone is everywhere, and they all have iMessage and FaceTime enabled, even if they don’t use iMessage as their primary messaging app.
“And in certain countries iMessage (Apple Messages) is also a prominent messaging app.”
It’s right there on the data you posted. Probably should have read it first
Yes there is a 1% difference in Samsung and Apple market share for all smartphones, but if you look up marketshare for phones prices >$500 or the premium smartphone market Apple is at 90% with Samsung falling further behind every year.
If you want to get into specifics, Sales for s24 series and Samsung foldabales are at an all time low this year with Samsung copying the iPhone, Apple Watch Ultra, AirPod designs and software look. As It turns out Apple is now number 1 in Korea in the 18-40 demographic causing Samsungs chairman to have a meltdown feuding with the active chief of the Mx Devision as Samsung mobile is imploding from within. Good times.
Meanwhile Apple just recorded around 40 million preorders for their iPhone 16 series in three days, for context s24 series + z fold 6 and flip 6 will only sell about 15 million units combined for all of 2024, its pretty much game over for premium Android moving forward
