iMessage skip message function gone?

Apple car play imesssge had an “skip” button to jump to skip the message being read and change it to read. It’s gone now!

Upgraded my iPhone to iOS 17 and I guess that also upgraded Apple CarPlay and they removed the skip

any way to get it back?
