Welcome to iMore! Is it locked? Or the slide to unlock just doesn't work? Have you tried a hard reset?
Hold the top or side power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.

Try doing a hard reset on it.

1. Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button simultaneously.
2. Hold both buttons until the iPhone shuts off and begins to restart.
3. Let go when you see the silver Apple logo appear on screen.
