I think I've used the least amount this billing cycle out of all the time I've had an unltd data plan going all the way back from my bb years. I was a whopping 78mb's this time LOL.
I only used 356MB of my unlimited data plan last month. It almost doesn't seem worth having an unlimited data plan, but I'm going to keep it until I see how much LTE data I consume once the new iPhone comes out.
On my phone I used to float around 500-600mb. I have a 1gb allowance.
Then suddenly 4-5 months ago it jumped to 1.9gb. Now each month I'm using 1.2-1.5gb each month despite very little change in usage. During day I email a lot use facebook and twitter a bit.
I have netflix on my phone but only ever use that or watch any videos when I am over wifi. Can anyone help me figure out why my allowance has spiked so much considering I havent changed the way I use my phone? I try and make sure all apps are closed when not using them so aren't running in background.
I used 2.7 GB, I was conned into switching my unlimited along with the rest of my family plan members to 10GB a month. Turns out they left out the fact that if you don't have WiFi your screwed! It cost less per month, but it also cost $15 for 1 GB over. It was a rip off! We live in remote area and some of us don't get service at home and don't have WiFi. What a trap and money maker for ATT.
I haven't been using as much data lately as I had been in months past. I download a lot more content to my iPad and iPhone now so no need for data. Plus, I get wifi just about everywhere I go. Been right around 2 GB in the last month.
Me? I myself will average maybe 300 mb per month. My Wife maybe 100 mb. My sister in law about 800 mb. My son about 3 gb or what's left. He backed off this past month. I think we used about 1.8 gb out of 5 gb available.
