How do I change an incorrect primary email on my Apple ID

I have recently noticed that the primary email (not my Apple ID) is incorrect on my iCloud account. It is simply missing the last letter before the @. However since it is a @me account I can't seem to change it. I have had my .mac account for as long as I can remember so I'm not sure how it ended up there, it seems like a typo. But I can't verify it as the email listed doesn't exist and I can't change it as I am given no option due to the fact that it is an @me account.
