How can I lock my sons phone at nite time

I want to lock my sons phone at bed times how can I do that?

You can't do that natively. Having said that, can you not just take his phone when he goes to bed?

You can add restrictions to his IPHONE without taking it by going to setting--about---restriction and turn it on and choose what he can acess and what not.

Set up Do not disturb option, but that will only turn off sound but not the phone entirely.

I think the lack of parental control tools in iOS is terrible. I wish on iPads and iPhone I could have a controlled account - when I could limit, hours used (like 2 hours/day), when it is used, and I'd like to control parental controls from my device. Microsoft does this in Windows 10 and I understand the Amazon fire devices have this. Why not Apple?

I think Apple just want to do this right, that's why there is no such functionality at the time.
