How can I block Iphone 7 Plus?

My Iphone 7 plus has been stolen. And I don't want thief to use it. So I want to block (or) deactivate that phone.

Welcome to iMore, sorry to hear about your iPhone being stolen.

Did you have 'Find my iPhone' enabled?

If it is enabled, there are a couple things you can do, the first is Sign in to icloud.com/find on your computer or use the Find My iPhone app on another iPhone.

Then, you can either Turn on Lost Mode which will remotely lock your device with a password and it will display a custom message with your phone number on your missing device's Lock screen.

OR

Erase your device. This will prevent anyone else from accessing the data on your missing device. When you erase your device, all of your information (including credit or debit cards for Apple Pay) is deleted from the device, and you won't be able to find it using Find My iPhone from here onwards.

If you don't have find my iPhone turned on then you'll need to contact your service provider and get them to block it from the networks
