have imported friends itunes account/password through syncing...

Do a reset and then sync to your own computer.

If you are logged into your friends iTunes account on the iPhone, just tap on the settings icon, then scroll down to "store," and tap it.

When the next screen comes up, just tap sign out. Then tap sign in and log in with your username and password.
