The Tensor two can’t even beat the 7nm a12 from the 2018 iPhone XS let alone the a16.

Cant play cpu intensive games such as genshin impact, overheating, and poor cellular signal. Googles cpu and modem won’t be decent until they switch to tsmc as a fab

First time anyone described a Samsung exynos cpu as decent . They are simply put terrible.
Don't the Tensor's also tend to overheat a lot? I know that was yet another issue my 6 Pro had, on top of everything else...

No, carriers around the world have their own version of rcs, and then there is googles forked version of rcs that is not compatible with any of the other implementations.

Googles rcs is just a cheap iMessages copy that goes through Google servers and doesn't rely on carriers or work very well according to reports from users.

SMS is an industry standard, a part of gsm, and does not require a data connection. Rcs is not a replacement for sms.

Seems apple doesn’t care

OK here's the article from 2019. The US carriers tried and failed to do just that. They specifically kept out Google. Then when they failed they accepted Google's version since it was actually working.

Yes the us carriers tried rcs, it was a failure and they gave up. Google put together their version which is incompatible with other carriers implementation of rcs, Global carriers with many different incompatible implementations of rcs.

Since you brought up the US, even if google rcs worked, which it does not. The problem in the us market specifically is that apple, the iPhone and iMessage are now the standard. It’s pretty much over, that’s why the head of google messaging left last year and all they can do is beg apple to implement buggy rcs, which they won’t.

Weil as a Pixel 7 user too, the SoC is decent along with it's modem. Does it beat A16 heck no. It doesn't have to. Could it be better? Sure but that's at least 2 years away when TSMC builds them for Google. Does it beat the Tensor 1? Yep.
