Face ID - two weeks using it

I mean it works great. The biggest difference is that my 7+ would already be at the home screen when I reach for it in my pocket or as soon as I pick up off the table. Can't do that with the X. That extra swipe after Face ID needs to go too. I don't need to watch a video comparison too. My 7+ TouchID is definitely faster at unlocking vs FaceID. I've done my own comparison.

Oh ok just that I saw you said it was slow af and that hadn’t been my experience at all as I find them both unlocked and ready to go as soon as I raise them toward me for use.

Even if unlocking with TID is technically faster I’m not sure it’s enough to make more than an academic difference. What are we talking here...1-1.5 seconds if that...and that with our first production iteration of Face ID? I think it will only get faster and more accurate.
