“ Android phones have had high megapixel counts for a while now, and I know our colleagues over at Android Central would be laughing at how the iPhone is finally getting more megapixels,”
I mean this with all due respect but this is an issue with tech channels community: specs are what matter. Another example is Ma battery size.
Nothing wrong with listing specs — until the mere bigger spec number becomes this hyper focus. Head to head the iPhone flagship camera and Android flagships both get the edge in various photo/video benchmarks. Both perform very well in almost all tasks. As the megapixel count among these competitors is not uniform, shouldn’t the highest megapixel count be the notable winners?
I suspect this is another battle of the specs that mean almost nothing in tangible performance. If that isn’t the case fir a phone, I haven’t seen any evidence to back that up.
