Does iOS 9 have a slide to dismiss option on the notification/lock screen?

does IOS9 have a slide to dismiss option on the notification/lock screen to dismiss messages, instead of having to open them up?

I'm assuming so it's not a feature I can see removed from iOS

so the answer is yes? it does have slide to dismiss? if i see a message pop up on my lock screen, can i just swipe it away (left swipe??) instead of right swipe, which opens up the message?

You can already do this in iOS 8.
