Do Two Lure Modules deployed by the same player stack?

It's my understanding that only one module can be attached at a time. But, being in range of two or more stops at the same time with all having modules attached will maximize your Pokemon opportunities (I do not suggest placing them all yourself, that will quickly get expensive). Popular areas are best.

Some people believe that they will stack if you have two pokestops close enough together, that the overlapping portion will stack if they each have a lure. That's a misnomer.

Each pokestop with a lure will generate pokemon spawns at their own rate with a lure on it. If you have two pokestops with a lure on them, they'll each spawn pokemon at the same average rate. But neither of them are spawning them any faster just because their circle of influence may happen to overlap. There's no stacking. You just happen to be close to two that have an increased rate. But they're not enhancing each other.
