Do Not Want Songs Separated By Album

I deleted all album information from my song info on my computer iTunes but when I transfer my playlist to my iPhone it breaks the songs up by album in the artist section. I even deleted the album column on iTunes. I don't want album information for the sole purpose of wanting to play all of an artist's songs without adding to play later. What am I doing wrong?

Hello and welcome to iMore. I have to admit that I have issues with iTunes... it's not easy to use. That said, have you tried creating a new playlist on your phone, adding the songs you want? That seems to work for me! Hopefully someone else will have a better suggestion!

On your iPhone, open the Music app, choose the Artists section:

Select an artist and tap Play or Shuffle:

There really is no need to edit the Song info.
