Okay. Normally I’m more for the regular size Watches but after todays Keynote I felt a strong urge to get the Ultra 2.
Who else is feeling the same way?

I thought the same thing... but this is an iPhone year for me! LOL! If I suggested that I get both a phone and a watch... LOL!Okay. Normally I’m more for the regular size Watches but after todays Keynote I felt a strong urge to get the Ultra 2.

Not at all. I just can’t justify the price for myself.Okay. Normally I’m more for the regular size Watches but after todays Keynote I felt a strong urge to get the Ultra 2.

I already have an Ultra, so no Ultra 2 for me. But the Ultra is one of may favorite pieces of Apple tech. If you can pull off the size, and can afford the price, go for it!
Features not available on the ultra 1:
3000 nits brightness
s9 chip with on device Siri
double tap
S9 is rumored to be based on the a15, 5nm
FWIW, the Ultra with 2000 nits has been absolutely fine. I've not had a single situation outdoors when I had any trouble reading the display at all.
But, yeah, brighter is better. And on-device Siri would be fantastic - I am often away from connectivity with mine (I have bad cellular signal near where I live) and using Siri to do things like set timers would be great in situations like that.
I just ordered one from T-Mobile won't ship until the 22nd can't wait.
