I just picked up the ultra 2 watch coming from a watch 6. The new ultra is an awesome watch and the perfect size for me. The screen is big and bright easy to see. Many more people point out that it’s way too big of a watch but for me at least it’s the perfect size. The screen is big and bright easy to see in any lighting.

As far as its weight goes I really don’t notice its weight at all. It much easier to read with the larger print it has not like smaller watches. The battery easily last 2 days or longer for me. It was super easy to set up no issues at all.

I highly recommend this watch for anyone super great experience.

My replacement watch came yesterday so far so good no complaints yet. One complaint is the band is too small thank god I purchased another band for my last one that fits.

I am thinking of buying an Apple Watch Ultra, I wore a Rolex Submariner for 30 years, but I am a heart patient now and I like the technology built into the device that can monitor my heart rate and step count. It’s either the Ultra or the large (44mm) stainless steel version.

As o4liberty said, both watches will do the same heart monitoring functions. IMO, the Ultra is the better choice IF you want the sports features. For example, it's a great watch for hiking, running, diving, etc. If you don't really need those features, about the only advantage would be the bigger battery because the regular 44mm watch will do everything for less money.
