Can I get a virus on a Mac from chrome by clicking a URL link?
I wanted to test a custom font in my iOS app so I searched for free font to download and test.
I got to some website and when I clicked to download the font... the page got blank(or a new blank tab don't remember) and I got two messages.
One message with a mac like dialog with bigger button saying something along the lines that I have a virus and I need restore/scan or something like that.
Another dialog opened on top of it with much smaller fonts saying the loadign of the page seem slow?
In any case I didn't click on anything and just closed the tab.
Is there anything I can do to assure I didn't get infected on my Mac? Also... how does Mac deal with those kind of threats? There isn't any anti virus?
