Can changing a motherboard or hardware from an iPod 5 to another be like having a new iPod?

I have this Ipod 5 that is locked and my friend doesn't know his apple ID at all to unlock it. I just want to know if changing some of the hardware or the motherboard can let me able to use the ipod without it being locked. if i can be able to change some of the hardware please tell which one(s).

You may as well just get a new device... Replacing a motherboard is doing essentially that...
