Can 3rd party keyboards use the keyboard shortcuts created with the Stock keyboard?

Not sure if this has been covered, but I have several shortcuts on my device that's used by the stock keyboard. Do any of these third party keyboards allow the option to use the key shortcuts already programmed in my phone? I'm not referring to quick reply, but keyboard shortcuts that will expand into whatever phrase you want when typed. This is about the only thing keeping me using the built in keyboard on iOS 8.
