Calendar app and badges.

Looking for a calendar app that leaves a badge on the icon until the app itself is physically opened and the event cleared.

My events always get dismissed from LS for one reason or another and either go completely unnoticed or get forgotten.

Despite trying to train myself to check NC often for events from the native calendar it's just not working for me so I'm curious if there are alternatives with badges for events instead of dates or invites.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
