Blocked numbers

Hello I would like to know, if I block a number on my iPhone but then change my number..
When my old number is dialed will the blocked caller still be blocked or will they be released because that is no longer my number?

i.e old phone number is 222-111-333

New number is 111-222-444

When caller dials old number will the number still be blocked?
Or is everything released,

If you block it through iPhone settings, then yes, the block will continue as is.

If you block a number on your current iPhone, then change the phone number on that same iPhone, then the block will continue on your new phone number. If the blocked number calls your old number, the call will go through.
