Apple makes iMovie and iPhoto free for new iOS 7 device purchases???

That's great that it works for 5c and 5s activations, but what about those of us that just bought the 5 a year ago and are following the 2 year upgrade plan that Apple and the carriers subscribe to? They should just make it free for all iOS 7 devices.

That would make the most sense if they want to spur adoption of iWork on iOS and iWork in the cloud
