Looks like apple is taking over in Korea, the iPhone is crushing Samsung galaxy with the under 30 crowd at an incredible pace.

Can’t wait to see what the titanium framed iPhone 15 pro and pro max will do next month, it’s going to be brutal.
I really don't see any big change at all like every year no real big change.

When was the last time you were in Korea?

According to reports of iPhone outselling Samsung with the 40 and under demographic is a big change in Korea and has destabilized Samsung in the Korean market.

Finally a worthy competition for them over there.

(The country is very great place to visit)

Samsung really feeling the heat in its home base.

Won't be surprised when a certain policy springs against foreign brands in their country.

When it happens to be competition like this, you can only execute just your best and hope for a good turn around. That's all.

Apple already has 60% marketshare in the <30 demo in Korea and 45% in the <40. It’s already over Samsung just hasn’t noticed and that’s only going to get worse in 3 days with the titanium iPhone 15 pro/ pro max .

Switchers are only going one way .

Just switched to a 15 pro max in black.

Couldn’t resist the titanium

And in android related news google is firing part of its pixel team and its entire ar hardware team, while Samsung is bleeding out profit. 85% decline for 2023 .

Well Samsung could hurt iPhone sales.. Just create a screen shortage. Are you Tim cooks son? You are so concerned about Samsung and Android sales and apple leading. You have to benefit financially from iPhone doing good to be this concerned about it.

I hate to break it to you but Samsung display cares more about Apples business than Samsung mobile, Apple has had priority over Samsung mobile for a couple of years now. Samsung display freely admits it.

Indeed I have been following mobile phone and pda sales since the 90’s. It’s been a very long road.

Technically not just if a company is doing good, doing bad also works. I made so much shorting blackberry and Nokia it stopped being funny.

Strike that it’s still funny .

Ok, well you are the true apple fanboy. I have other concerns in life to be so concerned about a company, specially if I'm not using said company's products.

I'll say it for you so you can feel all warm and cozy... iPhone is great. There, now go enjoy life and stop being so concerned about cell phone companies.

Oh, Samsung loves taking apples money.

I’m retired, so I have a lot of time to focus on the industry, my portfolio, as well as travelling.

You are right I’m not using Samsung mobiles products, and to be fair less and less consumers are using their products every year which explains the 85% decline in profit for 2023.

Don’t know why Samsung posting an 85% loss in profit is rubbing you the wrong way, as you mentioned you seem to have other concerns. To spare you the shock that is inevitable for 2024, Samsung mobile is in trouble. Brace yourself.

Ofcourse Samsung loves taking money from Apple, since there is none to be found at Samsung mobile.

Back to Apple related news.

Apple has now surpassed Samsung in global marketshare for 2023, first time since 2010.
