Alarm

I am not sure if this has been asked before. I did a search and couldn't find anything. I was wondering if I set my alarm and turn the phone off will the alarm still go off?

No, the phone has to be on for the alarm to work.

If you are trying to save battery, turn Airplane Mode on and the alarm will still work.

I was trying to keep people from calling me in the middle of the night. I didn't even think about airplane mode.

You could also flip the ringer switch to vibrate, but the Airplane mode makes sure you don't have any callers!

I tried the vibrate, but it just rattles on the desk haha. Then my dog hears it and wants to play with it.

The Airplane Mode is the way to go!

That's what I do. When I go to bed I put the phone on the charger and set it to airplane mode. Then just flip it back in the morning.
