i forgot my snapchat password and i don’t have the same phone to use the verification code

so basically i forgot my snapchat password and my old phone that got smash was linked to it and i can’t reset my password without the verification code from that old number. what do i do?? someone please help

The point of two-factor authentication is to keep users who don’t have access to your phone number from logging in. The only way around this is by entering a recovery code, which you would have been prompted to write down and save in a safe place as soon as you activated two-factor authentication. If you didn’t complete that step there’s not much that can be done. You can try contacting Snapchat support but there’s no guarantee they can do anything to help you.

Worst case scenario: Open a new Snapchat account and save the recovery codes this time around.
