Messages "crash"

Hi everyone, my name is 3cit and I'm a little bit annoying?
Anyways,
Occasionally, I will be doing (insert anything here) and I will get a red bubble over my messages app. As this is my only notification I will then click the messages app to restore the window and the Messages app crashes. Upon going to tarsus bar, clicking messages, then Quit, the re-opening messages I find that a portion of my chat history is gone, and always whatever the last message that I received?
I've asked people I work with and nobody else has this problem? have any of you people had this problem?

No. Never. Maybe if you sign out of the iMessage app, reboot or reset your network settings and then sign back in to iMessages, that will help.

I do seem be all alone with this "issue".
I can't exactly reset my network settings on account of laziness?
I probably have 125+ network and wifi passwords

Can't you save them on iCloud keychain? I'm not sure about this since I don't have a Mac.
