No email forwarding from .mac to iCloud

Hi,

I have an old .mac account which is set as my primary Apple ID and as my email address. I also have an iCloud email address which I use as my main email address. Unfortunately, I receive and send a lot of mails to the Apple support team. My problem is that all mails sent to my .mac account will not be forwarded to my iCloud mail account.

Believe me, I told them myriads of times to send mails to my iCloud account and not to .mac all in vain. With each call they ask me again if the .mac is my actual mail address.

I mean there is not much I can do, the support team says everything is set correctly to forward mails from .mac to iCloud. Obviously not. I'm tired of telling them that I still do not get those emails which they still send to my .mac because it is set as primary account.

Now my question is, has someone else experienced this bug? Is there a solution?

Is the (AppleID name)@mac.com an alias to the (AppleID name)@icloud.com account?

Ohh I forgot to mention it. No, it differs, but the support always tells me it has nothing to do with the different aliases.
