Having Trouble With Jigsaw Puzzles Apps

I downloaded several jigsaw puzzle apps and they all have worked well until a few days ago. Then a couple of them, especially 1000 Puzzles, stopped working. A few still work perfectly. When I click on 1000 Puzzles, the screen comes up, puzzles to choose show up, but after I click on one and start the puzzle, the Apple icon on the black screen pops up and turns the game off. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling and it didn't make any difference. Can someone help me with this?

Sounds like the app is buggy... Hopefully an update from the developer soon?
