Jailbreaking On A Different Computer

Hello all, I just had a quick question about jailbreaking. I've searched for an answer and am still unsure, so sorry if it is common knowledge.

I was wondering if I could use a different computer to jailbreak my iPhone 6.

My iPhone 6 is on 8.1.2, but the only 8.1.2 compatible jailbreak is only on windows from TaiG. I was going to use my brothers hp laptop to jailbreak my phone, but I was wondering if I had to sync my iPhone to it to make it work? Or would I be able to use it just solely for jailbreaking while my iPhone is still synced with my macbook?
