Advisable to upgrade from 6.1.3 to 7.0.4 in anticipation of jailbreak?

I got an iPad 4 earlier this year with 6.1.3 on it. Given a couple of posts I read that most work is being done on iOS7, would anyone agree that upgrading to 7.0.4 has better chance of catching a future jailbreak than 6.1.3? I don't want to get stuck in another of these situations where a jailbreak is released for 7.0.4 and 7.0.5+ immediately squashes it before I can upgrade from iOS6.

For those in same situation (iPhone 4S and other in this mix I guess), are you sticking at 6.1.3 or would you go to 7.0.4?

Since there's no 6.1.3 jailbreak... you could go to 7.0.4... 7.1 is in beta, and my guess is there won't be a jailbreak available until 7.1 is public.
