Change signal strength bars

Hello I am new to jail breaking and wanted to change the signal strength bars 3G from blue to multi color but every time I load one from themes(system) folder in Cydia and then select it in winterbord then respring it does not work. Can anyone help me with this problem?

List all the things you have checked in Winterboard and the order they are in.

Orange better 3G fireball os4
Oregon st Ls
White icon Labels

move: Colorful round signal bars to the top and respring

Winterboard uses a hierarchy, whatever theme that is selected and on top will override other themes that conflict with it below. move the themes up and down in Winterboard to adjust the hierarchy to your needs

I did that and respring. Still does not work

Any chance they aren't compatible with your version of iOS? I can't remember if the file names changed for the signal bars after 4.x...another possibility---you're not running any sort of status bar mods, are you? CleanStatus or anything like that?

Do you know how to SSH into you phone? if you can either tell us the names of the images or even email me the folder for the theme I can take a look at it. I'll take a look at my theme and tell you what the names should be.
