iphone 4 unlock questions

I was wondering if there was a way to unlock my iphone 4 without jailbreaking, or if there was a way to delete cydia after i unlock and keep the unlock?

I was also wondering the iphone 4 will re-lock if updated?

Only if you can get any official unlock. Otherwise, you need to JB. Believe, there is a way to remove Cydia. Try google for instructions. But, I don't see why you would want to. Cydia has some very useful apps. Why not just hide it away if don't want to see it?

And, if you are using Unlock through JB, you will loose your unlock everytime your update or restore your phone.
