Question about unlock and jailbreak

I just got back a brand new phone from apple because mine broke and its a 3GS 16gb on 3.1.3 firmware and 05.12.01 modem firmware. Is this jailbreakable or not?

Then use ultrasn0w to unlock. It's in cydia.

I think I was givin a old bootrom model... My serial number 4th and 5th number is 26 and my model number is MB715LL isn't that old bootrom? my modem firmware is 05.12.01

Damn No I have the new bootrom. SO your saying I can use spirte to jailbreak then use ultrasn0w to unlock? then what sup with all those people who are on 3.1.3 that are complaining that there is no jailbreak....
