Update from 2.2.1 to 3*

Hi - its been a while since i have updated my jailbroken iphone. Currently I have 2.2.1 on my iphone, and i want to update to the latest software. Is there a guide on how to do this out there.... i have had a look but cant see any direct link or guide - help and info would be great.

Don't you just plug in into iTunes and it'll prompt you for an update?
