Ok, quick question

Im currently using a PAYG 3g, but want to switch it over to a contract (on the same carrier), will jailbreaking/unlocking it stop me having to pay the bull**** ?7 a month they charge for using the wifi?

NO U sitll need the DATA package

It's on top of the data package, just to have the wifi on the phone usable.

In the US Wi-Fi is included in the data package with A T & T.

I was chatting to the guy in o2 shop, and he said taking the sim card out before using the wifi would stop me being charged, but that seems a lot of effort.
