iphone 3g stuck on apple logo. please help

my phone was acting up so i shut it down and went to reboot it. Now its stuck on the apple logo and will not turn on. if i leave it on and let it go for a little bit it will restart like its trying to boot it again. my phone is jailbroken also. any help. i got it in dfu mode to restore it. im wondering is there a way i can get it working without having to do a restore? i cant ssh into it either. please help

im pretty high

but just hold the home button and plug it in to ur comp while ur still holding it then run blackrain again and it might bypass it. otherwise u gotta just restore
