I've been trying to find a definite answer and it doesn't seem to be clear, so hoping someone can give me a definite answer.
Is there a way to restore a jailbroken iproduct without using iTunes?
I've read that if you erase all settings on a jailbroken iphone that the device would enter DFU mode, and then could only be restored by connecting to Itunes.
I want to know if there is a way to remove the jailbreak from the device itself, so that you could run erase all settings from the phone.
I'm just curious from the perspective if for example the phone has hardware damage and is unable to be synced to a pc.
