Apps stop working after Winterboard

I just jailbroke my iPhone 3g with 3.0 on it today using Redsn0w. Installed winterboard so i could mess around with the backrounds. Now none of my non cydia installed or factory iphone apps work. Anything I purchased from the app store opens up and immediately closes. Did I do something wrong???

I'm trying to restore the phone, but would love to be able to jailbreak it and have all my apps work. Any help would be much appreciated!

Make sure you use upgraded version to iPhone OS 3.0.

Easily Jailbreak the gadget with PwnageTool or Redsnow.

it is worth noting that this procedure will only work for iPhone 3G unlocked by YellowSnow. It is not a valid procedure to unlock iPhone 3GS!
