I can't get my friend's iPhone 4s to synch with his Outlook (on Windows 7) via Wifi.
The computer finds the phone over WiFi, and even starts the synch process through Steps 1 and 2, but always aborts right after getting to Step 3: Preparing for Synch
It syncs fine when using the USB cable.
I've rebooted the phone and computer, uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. I unchecked the WiFi sync option, synched with the USB, then tried turning the WiFi option on again. I unchecked then rechecked all the Outlook synch options in iTunes. iPhone is on the same WiFi network and is charging. Same result in all cases.
For each test we add new contacts or events to the iPhone or laptop before synching so it has something new to find.
I'm kinda at a loss at what to try next. Any ideas?
