ITunes duplicated my whole library!

My whole library looks like this. I had everything working great, but I just got a new hard drive, and after I got windows set up the way I like and everything copied over from the old drive, I installed iTunes and let it do its thing, and it duplicated everything. I have 75 gigs of music and the solutions I'm seeing are less than ideal. I found the thing about display duplicates, but if I manually delete every song that's going to take like to whole day!

What other options are there? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didn't even affect the library!

Did you manually import music to your iTunes library via drag/drop to the open iTunes window from your iTunes Media folder?

Go to your "Previous iTunes libraries" folder located in our iTunes system folder. Make sure you see an ITL file dated when you last had your correct iTunes library.

Finally, use the following procedure in order to shift your iTunes library to point to the above ITL file:
