2 iphones, 1 computer

My wife and I just both started using ip4's. We have 1 home computer, and 1 itunes installed. We have seperate apple ID's. I have a question....

How do I sync each phone so they remain individualized? Separate apps, separate pics etc etc. I am not looking to sync any music right now (possibly just a single playlist for each phone in the future). I only want to sync apps, is it possible to sync each of our apps seperately? I have noticed that even when I am not signed into my apple ID all the apps I have downloaded still appear under "apps" and before I sync each phone for the first time I want to ensure I am doing it right to keep everything seperate..

Use two different log ins for the computer. One for you and one for your wife. That way it should keep all your and your wife's apps, etc separate.
