3GS iTunes sync weirdness

So I'm having this odd issue that I'm wondering if anyone has experienced. Basically I have a song on my iPhone which is not in my iTunes, and I can't seem to get rid of it. It's a dupe of another song I purchased, but with a different genre label. Basically I purchased it some point and changed the genre, but this other song stuck around for some reason.

I've tried unsyncing and resyncing several times but it won't go away. Anyone have any experience with something like this?

there's only one song i have that wont unsync and that's because it came with an app

if its not linked to an app though i recommend backing up then doing a restore...

Hey, thanks for the tip! I restored and everything seems ok now. Sure was a lot of work for one song, but I'm just happy that it worked out
