iTunes and Jailbroken iPhone 3G

Hi all,

Kind of a newbie here....but just got a jailbroken iPhone 3G and am trying to add songs/movies to my iPhone. I checked the 'manually add songs, etc" button and clicked 'apply' but it says "this iPhone is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this library?" I'm afraid if I erase this iPhone I'll lose the jailbreak! I'm willing to do this and start over but I'm concerned about losing the jailbreak.

Anyone know if should worry? Any suggestions?

I get that same message once in awhile also, for some reason. I just cluck on No and that's that.

I did click on "cancel" but it won't let me add any songs or continue with the 'manual mode'.....anyway to get around that?

hi guys, im new to iphones but i seem to remember a youtube vid saying create a new playlist with itunes, add tracks from your library and then sync, i have just got a jailbroken 2g phone and it worked fine with mine ( even though i bought it second hand and the previous owner had it j'broken) so it was sync'd to his itunes , i had noproblem getting my tunes onto the phone.
