Can't edit/del Music from iTunes for Iphone 3.0

After I xfer music from iTunes to iphone 3.0, the iTunes device music page every song was grey, I cann't click on it and edit the name or anything.

But when I use my iTouch, it was good to edit as usual, even delete.

Is this the problem with 3.0 or with my jailbreaked iphone? In this case, then I can never delete a song from iphone? or any other way?

btw, seems I cann't xfer over any video which is not brought from iTune to this iPhone3.0? I was be able to do that with my iTouch.

Under the summary page of your iPhone in itunes, you need to check the box that says "Manually manage music and videos" then it will let you edit them.
