iOS 9.1 Battery percentage

Hi

My brother has an iPod Touch and iPhone so he gave the iPod to me. I updated it to iOS 9.1, but now I'm wondering how I can see the battery percentage? I looked it up on Google and I've seen that I have to go to Settings, General, Usage or Settings, Battery. But I don't see those settings...

I'm new to Apple so i'm kind of a noob to the OS

Settings→ Battery and then enable the toggle next to "Battery Percentage".

There is no battery percentage option for ipod touch. Download battery doctor and add it's battery perc widget in the scroll down notification tray.
