I ordered a Silver 256 GB. I paid 54% of my 7 plus off. The site said I got a $450 credit but it still charged me $444.51! Anyone know why?

You're responsible for the payment of your device. The 54% you paid was the $444.51. The $450 credit shows up on your account when they receive the phone.

I think they charge us until we send the phone back to them just as a Security thing
I paid mine 50% off but I wasn’t only charged for the upgrade fee and taxes on phones
Website indicated if I didn’t sent old phones back I’d be billed the balance

yea you have to pay first then when the phone is back into Verizon hands you get the credit I did that when I trade the 7 plus to get the 8 plus. now im about to do it with the 8 plus to the x

no it not I didn't even get to pay one part yet lol. so I have to pay the 464 first then getting 300 back so im only out 164 I kinda regret getting the 8 I did it cus I didn't think I had the chance to get the x lol

I’m sure you know this already, you only get $300 off if you keep iPhone X for 2 years. If you upgrade next year, you’re looking at $150 saving.

I think that $300 discount is given as a bill credit over 24 months if I’m not mistaken.
