Grouping Contacts?

I didn't see where I could do this natively so I thought maybe there was an app that would...

I keep alot of contacts in my phone. I recently got to thinking it'd be wise to start grouping them for sorting purposes. Different groups for work, friends, family and so on.

Can this be done natively and I've overlooked it? Or is there an app to help?
